Ordnance Survey praise

So I was trying to do some British National Grid Refrence to Latitude and Longitude transformations using a guide on the Ordnance Survey website.

I found they missed a step out in the PDF you can download, so I thought I would try and report the error.

The first thing I liked was I was allowed enough space in the contact form to actually explain the error properly. So often having to cut down the number of words for no sensible reason in web forms makes it harder to communicate the actual issue.

Secondly the automatic acknowledgement was followed up with a human one saying the request was going to the relevant team.

It is a shame I expect most of these forms to end up in black holes, but thank you Ordnance Survey for showing it can be done well.
